CHASE hospice care for children provides a network of care to life limited children and their families who live in Surrey, SW London and Sussex. This care is provided to the families in their own homes by our Community Teams and also at our purpose built hospice, Christopher’s, near Guildford. The CHASE Ben Hollioake Fund is an integral part of CHASE and was established following the death of England and Surrey cricketer, Ben Hollioake in a car crash in 2002. Ben’s brother Adam and the Hollioake family wanted to create an everlasting memory in Ben’s name and as Adam was already involved with CHASE, the fund was established to raise funds for CHASE in Ben’s name.
The CHASE service is provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year at no cost to the families themselves. We have to raise over £4 million a year to maintain this service and the CHASE Ben Hollioake Fund is a vital part of our fundraising.
